Spent three days tree marking before the bugs and leaves are out. Worked with a good team. Lots of paint sprayed!
While tree marking near Port Perry, we came across some interesting wildlife observations. 1/ a grouse nest with two wild turkey eggs! and 2/ a substantial midden.

This was my first full year in the south-western part of the Ontario. I had the opportunity to participate in an excellent energy filled woodlot conference in the Grey Bruce. One interesting contract had me working with an enthusiastic team from Bruce Tree Experts preparing an inventory for a potential natural gas corridor.
